M Studio – Video Upload Policy

We want M Studio to be an authentic and safe place for expression and inspiration. It’s up to all of us to make that happen. Follow the guidelines below to ensure the most enlightening, transparent, and valuable information is available to our co-workers. 

Copyright:

We have always set out to respect the rights of creators. If you upload video that belongs to someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the permission of the owner in order to post that video to M Studio. This means do not upload videos which are not prepared internally by Mahindra Finance Service Sector or don’t use the content in your videos that someone else or any other organization owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, any other company’s advertisements or any other videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations.

Privacy:

Real life case studies shall be published only prior consent of the people concerned. If someone has posted your personal information or uploaded a video of you without your consent, you should contact the uploader and ask them to remove the content. In case you can’t reach the uploader, or if you’re uncomfortable contacting them, you can raise request to
[email protected] based on our Privacy Guidelines. Also kindly share the detail of the particular video or content including video link, video title, comments and other information which you need to share.

Criteria for removing content

For content to be considered for removal, an individual must be uniquely identifiable. If you want to use the privacy removing content complaint process, make sure that you are uniquely identifiable within the content you seek to report before proceeding. When assessing if an individual is uniquely identifiable, we consider the factors i.e. Image or Voice, Full Name, Contact information, Financial Information or any other personally identifiable information.

Practice to Upload a Video:

Based on information security guidelines, M Studio Support team has provided Admin rights for video uploading to one or two employees from each department of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Sector. All Admin are responsible to follow all the above given policies while uploading any video into M Studio Application.

Below are the rights provided to M Studio Admin:

1. Admin can view the dashboard of M Studio which includes the:
   • Total no. of Videos uploaded
   • Total no. of Videos viewed
   • Total no. of M Studio users
   • Total no. of Subscriptions
   • Total no. of Videos comments
   • Total no. of Video likes,
   • Total no. of Videos Dislikes,
   • Total no. of Saved videos
   • Also the user can view the User and Video Statics in graph format.
2. Admin has the rights to Add and Manage Languages.
3. Admin can manage any uploaded videos on M Studio. Admin has the right to:
   
   • Add or Modify – self uploaded Video Title
   • Add or Change – self uploaded Video Description
   • Set Categories and Sub Categories of self uploaded video
   • Provide self uploaded video rights to any particular department
   • Provide self uploaded video rights to any individual
   • Featured self uploaded video
   • Assign the uploaded video to any particular M Studio Subscriber
   • Change the self uploaded video privacy mode to Public, Private or Unlisted
   • Can Add Age Restrictions for the self uploaded video
   • Allow or disallow the self uploaded video to downloaded by user
   • Add Tags to self uploaded video
   • Delete or Publish self uploaded video
   • Change self uploaded video Preview image.

L&D DLD team has Super Admin rights who can manage the Admin. Also with similar rights of Admin, Super Admin has the additional rights to manage:

1. Manage Users
2. Add or Manage Advertisement
3. Manage Categories and Sub Categories
4. Set or Modify Privacy Policy
5. Set of Modify Terms of Use M Studio
6. Ban Users in case of any policy disobedience
7. Overall Videos uploaded in M Studio
8. Manage Video reports

Maximum upload size:

The maximum upload file size for M Studio is 50 MB. In case, your video is larger than 50 MB, try compressing your video by video compression freeware tools or take support from BITS Multimedia team to compress and reduce the file size of the video before uploading it to BITS Tube. Compressing the video will reduce your video file size while maintaining the video quality.

Unauthorized Recording & Publishing:

Messages from senior management are not meant to be recorded and published without any appropriate approval from senior management. We are committed to protecting the confidential and proprietary information of the organization. So, please act responsibly with the information you are entrusted with. And if you feel the message is to be shared internally, ask the consent of the speaker before recording and consult and take proper approval from your manager before you upload.

Misinformation and False News:

We want our audiences to see accurate information on M Studio. Hence, we encourage you to ensure the accuracy of your content to prevent the spread of fake news or rumors in M Studio. Both the maker & checker are equally responsible for the upload. If the judgment call is tough on the content, the uploader should consult his/her reporting manager before publishing any video.

Do not share the video content to an outsider:

Always remember that content in M Studiois "for internal use only" and it is absolutely not meant to be shared to anyone who is not the employee of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Service Sector. 

What this means for Mahindra Finance users:

If you're posting content

Don’t post content on M Studio if it fits any of the descriptions noted below.

• Revealing someone’s personal information, such as their address, private email addresses, private phone numbers, passport number, or bank account information
• Content that is deliberately posted in order to humiliate someone/group of people
• Content that makes hurtful and negative personal comments/videos about another person(s)
• Content that incites others to harass or threaten individuals
• Content featuring sex acts or sexualisation
• Content threatening physical harm or destruction of property

This policy applies to videos, video descriptions, comments, live streams, and any other M Studio feature.

Content that aims to obscene materials:

Do not upload any kind of explicit content in BITS Tube. Violent, graphic, or humiliating fetishes are not allowed on BITS Tube.

It is not allowed to upload audio visual content containing:

• Any video which promotes sexual harassment/behavior
• Any company personnel, any customer or any individual’s personal and private moments
• Any person or employee consuming liquor, smoking, drugs or any other addiction
• Please note this is not a complete list

This policy applies to videos, video descriptions, comments, live streams, and any other M Studio product or feature.

Content that aims to encourage dangerous or illegal activities:

Videos and content that aims to encourage dangerous or illegal activities that risk serious physical harm is not allowed uploading on BITS Tube. If you see content that violates this policy, please report it. Kindly report such violations to
[email protected]. If you have found multiple videos, comments, or a user’s entire channel that you wish to report, please contact IT Helpdesk Or [email protected] to submit a more detailed complaint.
